Welcome to Mark Bland's Thesis Portfolio

Welcome to the site of my senior thesis.  Towson University's West Village Housing Phases III & IV consists of two, multi-story, high-rise apartment buildings and the related site work.  The project is scheduled to be completed in 2016 for the Fall Semester. The two apartment buildings will be residential halls and add students directly to campus consisting of approximately 700 beds.

Throughout Fall Semester 2015, I will analyze the building's current structural design.  I will also develop a proposal for the redesign of the building.  This proposal will be used in the Spring Semester 2016 to guide me through the building redesign process. Please feel free to check back throughout the year for site updates.
